hey people,its been awhile but I have been playing with burning spear and we did NYC at rockerfeller park,it was very cool and when we did trumsburg,we rocked it in AUG were getting ready to play in Holland,AUG 17th thru 22nd,in 4 cites,for more info go to www.burningspear.com/tour and get more info......This FRI i leave for Montreal,Canada,to play with 5 artist, frankie Paul,TOSH1,Leroy Gibbons,Tony Gits and more,at the montreal reggae festival,AUG 6th thru the 8th.....so also I started a funny skit called "singing Request",its where I sing for fun and to be funny and folks it has GROWN OMG!!,so thanks to all who supported it,you can catch it on youtube or on my facebook page....other than that I have some ideas I am working on,so be on the look out for that....One love,Michael

Burning Spear is getting to start back with dates,thou there some that are confermed and the rest its a wait and see what happens,so in July 25th I will be in Upstate NY,then in Aug 18,19,20,and 21st,I will be holland in 4 citys,yes for the fans in amsterdam,were playing the paradiso,come check ya boy out....Soon as the new dates come in I will let u know and post them,if u come to the concert please stop and say HI ok.  One love.

Hey Folks,I know its been awhile since I have updated the site,so heres the latest,well I have been playing alot of weddings and events lately,so oviously I can't post it cuz its private but I do have public performances coming which I will post....Still writting new song ideas and so on....One love.

March is here and yes its definatly March Madness month........First off I resently recorded a straight ahead jazz song that I wrote and I played drums on it to give it that vybe that  it a bunch of musicians playing on there...I will be posting it very soon,along with others.     Anyways,I have a bunch of gigs coming up and its going to be great.    Folks,MARCH 12th is my Birthday so please don't get me the samething you got me last year ok,hahahahaha.................One love.

hey Folks,I had a great week last week,I played with Erly Thornton at the indaba jazz festival in winter park,FL. we had a blast,you check him out at www.itunes.com/erlythornton,I played on a song called"mura de cozumel", I should be seeing a video soon and will post it.   Then later on I played with a band called "dub Culture" its a Reggae band and they are great,plus its great playing with folks u love and respect.  We played at The ocean Deck,I always love playing there cuz it a good time everytime.  I will be playing with the band more often so look out for the dates in as well as others that will soon come.......I am still recording and writting new music and I LOVE IT and I will post it as soon as its ready.    Hope all is well. Hey folks, lately I have been writting and recording a bunch of songs and I am so greatful to be able to do that.......Today,I tracked drums for 4 songs I wrote on and I feel great about it,2 of them were remixes,1 of Matisyahu and another for my friend Chesley Rolle,which by the way ,he is writting words for the second song I am doing for the HAIT relif........So be on the look out for the songs,as soon as I get them together I will post it.       One love.

I just wanted to share with u,that my friend and brother Tony Gits,has finally come out with his album "Long Journey".....I plays drums and percussion and yes I even sang on 1 song background that is,lol.....This CD has been a long prosess but worth it thou,so I ask that you go support him and check out the album.

Hey Folks, lately I have been working on a CD for Haiti and its going GREAT!!....I am going to have 2 song EP,the first song I wrote (I will tell u the name when its done,LOL) and its interesting cuz I first put the word out on facebook to singers and musicians wanting to play on the CD for free and the responces were awesome,withen an hour I had 7 people responed to play,so I used some of them and the prosess was amazing,I had my friend chesly rolle play pan,craig neal on bass from NYC,ken demery on guitar,marlene hayes on vocals and also I had an incredible singer from Mardrid,Spain name Celia Mur,I recorded her thru skype ( wow) and she SANG her ASS!! off,check her out www.itunes/celiamur   please support her also.
